This little book is something of a mystery to me. C. and G. Robinson, the first subscribers, were doing the same for other books in 1803. Whittingham seems to have been born in 1795. If I had not discovered that, I would have dated the book to about 1803. This is a small book (4" x 6¼") and its illustrations are also small (1½" x slightly more than 2"). I have the sense that I recognize them from somewhere. Maybe most remarkable of them is the bull throwing a dog up into the air (26). Maybe that can provide a clue. The front cover is separated.
