Abstract
The title continues "Cum adnotationibus ad utrumque." In addition there is a collection of Greek texts corresponding in subject to Phaedrus' Latin. After that comes the Batrachomuomachia. This little (3" x 5½") volume is our first Remondini Phaedrus; it joins three Aesops (1743, 1757, 1780). No illustrations. On 272 one finds the Inquisitor General's permission to publish. A lucky find on a day of exploring Frankfurt's antiquarian bookshops with Franz Kuhn.
