FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|In 1967 the Nebraska Unicameral adopted an act empowering Nebraska courts to exercise in personam jurisdiction over non-resident persons or corporations, who by certain Nebraska related activities come within the ambit of this statute. The purpose of this comment is to provide a general overview of the scope of this act. |Application of section 25-536 imposes three general requirements. (1) The activity of the non-resident must fall under one or more of the six types of conduct enumerated in the statute. (2) The cause of action must arise out of this conduct. (3) The imposition of jurisdiction over the non-resident must not violate the limitations imposed by the due process clause.|The organization of this comment is as follows...
