Abstract
Here is one of some 38 inexpensive Turkish editions of Aesop bought together. This book is even simpler: than others in the group. Aside from a colorful cover of fox and stork with tall beakers, there is only a one-page introduction to Aesop and then 4 to 94 run through individual fables without illustration or notes. The back cover lists the other books of this publisher to fulfill the apparent mandate of "100 Temel Eser," apparently something like "100 Essential Artifacts."
