Perrette runs into problems when she skips because she is thinking about having so much money. Her husband admonishes her later. The illustration for The Monkey and the Cat is striking. It also forms the cover of this book. The illustrations are typical of Tormont publications: bright, lively, slightly cute. This booklet comes in a square box with four other fable booklets. The box itself has a nice set of five illustrations taken from the books.
