There are nine stories here, and most are recognizable fables. The black-and-white illustrations indicate that some are MSA; "The Fox and the Crab"; "The Fox and the Cat"; FS; and BF. The second story may be SS. 61 pages. MSA has an unusual final round in that the two humans carry the ass on a platform, like a door, perhaps with its hind and fore legs bound together, respectively. The colorful cover features a frame presenting several fable characters.
