Abstract

First published in 2004 by Evans Brothers, London. In this version of TT, Terry the turtle wants to fly, and Dora the bird is willing to accommodate. Polly the chimp looks up at Terry being dragged through the air by a laboring Dora and says "Look at Terry. He looks silly in the air." Terry yells back "I do not look silly! I am flying!" He falls into a muddy pond. Polly says "You sure look silly now!" "Maybe," Terry answers, "but at least I was able to fly!" Lively cartoon work. Meant apparently for kindergarten and first grade. This was a random find on a walk through a random neighborhood before taking off on a train vacation from Chicago.
