Three fables are told here, with following nature observations for each. The second story is new to me, Gusti da farfalla. Apparently the butterfly scorns the cauliflower, which reminds it that in one of its earlier stages as a caterpillar it loved cauliflower. The Lion and the Mosquito finishes this book's trio of stories. Apparently Mondadori went back to good texts and illustrations done in its 1985 book titled Stagioni piú. There are six books in this apparently new 1990 series, Imparo a Leggere con gli Animali.
