This paperback catalogue of available fable books came to the Executive Assistant in Berkeley after I had left there, and she was kind enough to pass it along. I found it with all sorts of notes about books I was interested in, already had, and should probably let go. Now as I catch up on cataloguing books, I think it belongs in the collection along with fancier books that are catalogues of fables. Peter Bichsel's fable offerings have been a steady stream over the years. Now, eleven years later, I still keep an eye on what he has available -- and especially whether we could pay for it! Having this book in my hand makes me want to plan a visit to Peter on my next trip to Europe, if we ever escape this pandemic!
