Abstract
Volume II adds no frills to Volume I except an AI at the end. Strangely, there are no advertisements. A sticker in the early pages proclaims "Larousse Prix de Base 1927." Might that offer a terminus ante quem for publication? As I mentioned concerning Volume I, this is the kind of inexpensive La Fontaine that one might expect from Larousse. The book seems to lack a date of publication. There are two pages of inserted, unpaginated, double-sided Oudry illustrations at 48 and 112 (TT). 177 pages, with a very simple T of C at the end. The spine has almost completely disintegrated. 5½" x 8".
