"The Lord has made known his salvation..."||"Through him we have received the grace of apostleship, to bring about the obedience of faith, for the sake of his name, among all the Gentiles" (Rom 1:5) ||The Psalm for today declares that the Lord has made known his salvation. How has the Lord made his salvation known to you?|| What people or experiences have helped you understand or appreciate salvation more deeply? Thank God for those who were graced in ways that enabled them to bring you to a new level of understanding, a new level of obedience, or a new level of reconciliation.||Let's read Psalm 98 slowly two or three times today and make it a song of praise. Use it to reflect today on the awesome nature of our God who loves us and redeems us. Let's respond prayerfully to the challenge that Jesus posed to the crowds. Can we realize in a new way today that this salvation is worth more than anything for which would take an arduous trip? Can we come to more fully realize that this salvation is still worth life-changing repentance? Perhaps we can pray for wisdom so that we, like Paul, can see how we are graced to bring about deeper reconciliation, praise, or obedience in others around us.||Jesus, grant us grace to respond with gratitude, joy, and love to your awesome salvation.
