Abstract
Here is a simple but lovely book! Here are 45 fables presented generally face-to-face. The author's unassuming introduction makes a point dear to my heart after describing the reasons for using fables in language teaching: they "even after hundreds of years are still current, and a lot of fun" (1). There are perhaps three fables whose texts run onto a second page. These are grouped well so that the rest can appear face-to-face.
