On this mountain the Lord.... provides a rich feast for all peoples, destroys the veil, the web, death itself, wipes away the tears from all faces, removes the reproach of his people, and saves them.|The hand of the Lord rests on this mountain.|In the dark valley the Lord.... gives me repose, leads me, refreshes my soul, guides me, is at my side, gives me courage, spreads the table before me, anoints my head with oil, sends goodness and kindness to follow me, and has a place for me in his house forever.|On this mountain the Lord.... cures the lame, the blind, the deformed, the mute, and many others, is moved with pity for the crowd, doesn't want anyone to collapse from hunger on the way home, takes what small amount of bread the disciples have to offer, gives thanks, breaks the loaves of bread, and gives it back to his disciples, who feed the crowd, with food leftover.|"I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From whence shall come my help? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:1-2).|Amen.
