FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|As members of the legal profession and students of the law, we deal daily with a vast range of information. Articles and essays published in legal periodicals such as the Creighton Law Review provide us with valuable tools for synthesizing that information and gleaning understanding in our work as attorneys and scholars.|Scholarship contributes greatly to the development of the law. The frequent citation of the Creighton Law Review in our opinions reflects the value we feel this publication has for members of the judiciary and the practicing bar. As recently as our 1994 decision in Vacanti v. Master Electronics Corp., and as long ago as our 1975 opinion in Royal Indemnity Co. v. Aetna Casualty and Surety Co., we have cited Creighton Law Review articles for explanation and support of our decisions...
