Abstract

Aerial view of Campus. Looking North East. Before homes and park was demolished for interstate. Jan. 1966. Creighton University has completed more that 17 million dollars in construction since 1956. Eight million more will be spent in the next few years. The program and approximate costs: (1) Swanson Hall for men, $3,500,000 (2) Kiewit Hall for women and (3) Becker dining hall, $3,500,000 (4) basic medical sciences unit, $3,500,000(5) medical research unit, $2,000,000 (6) Gallagher Hall for women, $1,000,000 (7) Deglman Hall for men and student Center, $2,000,000 (8) Library, $1,250,000 (10) air conditioning plant, $200,000 (11) site for second half of medical school, $3,000,000 (12) site for $4,000,000 science building (13) site for $1,500,000 communications arts-fine arts building.
