Abstract
Here is a large collection of fables, many from Spanish-writing fabulists, in a book 6" x 8┬╝" without illustrations. The beginning T of C (5-28!) shows that the organization is by virtues or vices and then by subcategories under each: justice, pride, power, friendship, envy, lying, love, freedom, prudence, ambition, resignation, wisdom, and illusion. Some are in verse. The author is listed with each fable. The final pages offer brief biographical information alphabetically for each fabulist. This is quite a compendium!
