Abstract

Students at Creighton School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP) are applying what they learn in the classroom through service learning. Operation Immunization (OI) is a program developed by the American Pharmacist Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. Their goal is to promote optimal immunization rates. In this effort, trained pharmacy students and pharmacists administer vaccinations and educate on vaccine preventable diseases. The spirit of generosity, healing, and collaboration are being manifested through their service to the community.
