A large majority of retreat participants express spiritual growth and a desire to carry their retreat experience into everyday life. However, many of those expressions are generalized. It also should be noted that these findings are aspirational and not directly observable. This is the nature of working with subjective data from a one-time program that lasts for only one weekend. For the 2017-2018 year, we are implementing new survey questions and learning outcomes. Ideally, these will capture more deeply the specific insights and reflections students carry forward from their retreat experiences into everyday life.
