FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|Faced with uncertain supply and escalating prices from foreign oil producers, public demand has shifted to domestic oil suppliers thereby causing the value of domestic oil and gas leases to experience a sharp upturn. Consequently, owners of oil and gas leases are anxious to reap the mineral harvest lying beneath the surface and to collect the high dividends of the price rise. This accession to wealth depends, however, on an oil producing lessee.
