FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|During the survey period, the Nebraska Supreme Court adjudicated many cases involving municipal corporation. One case which deals with the distinction between public and municipal corporations is particularly significant.|Public corporations have been a favorite device of governments to carry on public activities. The classification of such public corporations has at times been difficult. The ambiguity of the terminology within this area of law may be a reason for the difficulty.
