FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|It is with understanding but reluctance that I accepted Rod Shkolnick's resignation as dean. Rod came into the office richly prepared, respected in the legal community, and experienced as both professor and administrator. The Outstanding Professor plaques on his wall bespoke the years of success in the classroom. In administration hundreds of Creighton Law graduates attest to his warmth and wisdom as Associate Dean. Appointing him to the decanal chair seemed only natural. He has served in that position now for a decade. Such a tenure at the decanal level is remarkable for the tasks and tolls of such responsibilities are heavy.|Dean Shkolnick has been the kind of teacher, leader, and person a University President looks for as Dean of the Law School.
