Abstract

The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, through its Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NCR) Program, offers courses leading to a Graduate Certificate in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution as well as a Master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict. These courses are available in two formats: campus-based and online instruction with two intensive campus-based components. Many of the courses offered in the program contain a significant skill-building component. The purpose of this project is to compare the effect of two teaching methods—interactive lectures and videos—on the knowledge & skill performance of the students in one of the campus-based courses
