Abstract

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,|| With all your soul, With all your mind, And with all your strength."|In my busy multi-tasking life, how frequently do I do the above?|Do I let other worldly concerns prioritize my energy?|"You shall love your neighbor as yourself."|Who is my neighbor?|Do I love myself?|"And to love him with all your heart| With all your understanding, With all your strength, And to love your neighbor as yourself is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."|Do I engage in 21st century parallels of ritualistic burnt offerings and sacrifices?|Do I love Him, my neighbor, and myself with all my understanding and strength?|"And when Jesus saw that he answered with understanding . . . "|Do I respond as the scribe did, i.e., with understanding?| Do I practice these two great commandments?
