Abstract
"Dear Mr. Holland: Thank you very much for sending on to me your ""The St. Louis Story Retold"". I had heard of the background of the case but you filled me in a little more completely. Ted Cunningham, S.J. is doing some great work. Many people in religious orders think ""integrated ""but feel ""segregated"". The second of these two is very subtle and hard to get at. I have seen (I'm ofay) a fellow Religious talking to a negro and actually unbeknownst to himself just putting the negro on--he himself doesn't know it BUT the negro does, he can tell by the nuances in the speaker's voice. Yet the Religious will say discrimination is wrongs case, I think, of feeling one way and thinking another. Ted does a lot to get the okay over the ""feeling barrier"". Every best wish. In Christ George B. Murray, S.J."
