Abstract
INTRODUCTION|Law and wine have much in common. Both law and wine seek the unattainable: for law, it is justice; for wine, transcendence. However, neither law nor wine is available for free and at times, seemingly parenthetic matters can obscure their objectives. A wine's container, such as a bottle secured by cork or screw top, may exert more influence on a purchaser than the bouquet. With the law, the designation of a lawyer as in-house counsel or outside counsel may have greater sway over which lawyer a corporation consults than the lawyer's own legal skills.
