Abstract
The Riverfront Development Program concerns the residents along the Missouri River from the city of Blair, Nebraska to the confluence of the Platte and Missouri rivers just south of Bellevue, Nebraska. Between these points, the area on both sides of the Missouri is to be developed in a variety of ways. Accomplishment of all the proposed projects will require investment of nearly one billion dollars over a twenty-five year period. Funds will be derived from several sources but mostly from private enterprise. During the early stages of the program, funding will come mostly from the Federal Government. The details of the sources of, and the requirements for, these funds are presented in this paper.
