Abstract
This pamphlet of 32 unpaginated pages features on its cover a small gouache (?) illustration of a monkey holding a mirror. The illustrations are strong and colorful. Often there is an echo of the facing full-page illustration on the text page. For example, a young woman enjoys eating grapes next to the text of FG, while on the facing page a female fox strides away from a vine with her nose proudly up in the air. Again, a female monkey points to a mirror on the right-hand page while a male bear looks on in the full-page illustration to the left. The back cover is an unpictured fable text, apparently FC. 8⅜" x 10⅞"
