Three Fables (Arabic)

This is a good sixteen-page pamphlet about 10" a side. It repeats in slightly larger form and Arabic a pamphlet already in the collection from 2002 and also by Scholastic. Its three fables are FC, FG, and DS. Here is what I wrote about the English-language version: FC is told in an excellent version. If a reader needs a sensible rendition of this fable, this pamphlet is a good place to look. In FG, the fox tries many tricks and efforts to get the grapes he deeply desires. DS combines text and illustration in excellent fashion, for example at the bridge. The dog in this version never knows that the bone he saw in the water was his own.
