Abstract
This is a substantial and well executed book. It is heavy, long (230 pages) and well printed and bound. The illustrations are unfortunately in a style that might be characterized as "cute." The colored front-cover of mice coming to help the lion is among the best illustrations. Titles occur in large characters with large translations. Yellow boxes occur at beginning and end, those at the beginning marked with a question mark and those at the end marked with an exclamation point. Chinese characters are accompanied throughout with Roman-alphabet syllables.
