Abstract
This pleasant book to be enjoyed with a downloaded audio track opens with six pages of presentation of characters and moves quickly to an impressive two-page spread on the lion's court. This Reinaert seems to get Bruin stuck -- both head and paw -- in the log. Bruin soon goes bleeding to the river. Is that a pitchfork in his bottom? Tibeert is introduced on his way to Reinaert working a Rubik's cube and thinking about the Fibonacci series. He soon has a paw in a trap and then also returns to the Lion bloody. In the meantime, Reinaert has been playing golf. His relative Grimbaert brings him to court. Escapades with Isegrim and Hersinde come into play. Soon Reinaert is at court. As far as I can tell from the great cartoons, Bruin and Isegrim end up tied up and even tortured, while Reinaert turns to golf. It all looks like great fun! 8" x 8". 10 + 34 pages. An attached CD apparently gives the code to unlock the audio download.
