I am delighted to see that Pinkney’s lovely work has made it to China. The book is exquisitely produced, with excellent color. On this perusal, I enjoyed particularly the illustrations for “Donkey and Lapdog” (20); MSA (39); and “The Astrologer” (60). I will include some comments from the English original in 1977. The size of the illustration varies, from thumbnails to part-page to full-page. LM gets a luxurious two-page spread at the middle of the book. The art sometimes reminds me of Frederick Richardson. 8¾” x 10¾”. 88 pages.
